When Women Don’t Invest Their Families Suffer

My name is Marc E. Davenport and my partner Grace L. Holden, and I own The Blue Print For The CEO, a personal and professional growth and development company in Houston, TX.  A few months back I received a request from a local CEO to be the keynote at a workshop she was hosting for bloggers. Now before I go any further its important that you know I am not a blogger.  I have written content for one of my website blogs maybe 3 times.

We talked for a few minutes about the number of people she was expecting to come out along with her expectations for the event.  It sounded like a solid opportunity, so I closed the deal and showed up for the event one week later had a great time, closed 3 new clients and learned a lot about blogging.

What I am about to share with you will change your life and the fortunes of your business.  “Close the deal first and figure it out later.”  Never tell the market place what you can’t do. Always close the deal you will have ample time to call everyone in your network for help in putting the deal together once you close the deal.
